At Mini Highland Cow Farms, we are among the rare few who offer a money-back guarantee if a veterinarian deems your calf unhealthy within 30 days. Furthermore, I also provide a one-year guarantee against major congenital and genetic diseases for all our calves.

The Mini Highland Cow Farms Health Guarantee is more of a health warranty than a guarantee, as it’s impossible to ensure that any living being won’t fall ill. When you invest time and money in finding and buying your adorable Mini Highland calf, you deserve some level of protection. The guarantee has two main components:

Part 1: This part aims to protect you from receiving a sick calf. Within 30 days of acquiring the calf, you must have it examined by a licensed veterinarian. If the vet deems the calf unwell or unfit for sale, you can return it for a full refund or choose another available calf. Some key points to note are that an original written statement from your vet is required, veterinary fees won’t be reimbursed, and shipping fees are non-refundable but can be covered for returning the calf or receiving a replacement.

Part 2: This part focuses on long-term protection against genetic defects or congenital diseases. If your cow is diagnosed with a serious genetic issue or congenital disease before one year of age, I will provide a healthy replacement. Conditions like life-threatening heart problems, genetic diseases, and degenerative nerve disorders qualify for this replacement offer. However, conditions that don’t significantly impact longevity or quality of life do not qualify for replacement. In cases where there’s doubt about the seriousness of the condition, I may seek a second opinion at my expense.

No refunds will be given in cases of obvious neglect or violations of the Sales Agreement. If I can’t offer a healthy replacement within six months or if my ranch ceases operation, I will refund the original purchase price excluding delivery costs.
